Nancy Murphy

Nancy Murphy, a Northern California native and BYU graduate, has been married to Dale Murphy for nearly 50 years. Together they have 8 children and 23 grandchildren, building a family rooted in faith and connection.

A certified CliftonStrengths coach, entrepreneur, and co-founder of Dale Murphy LLC, Nancy believes leadership starts with the courage to show up, serve, and choose hope. As Executive Director, she leads with compassion and conviction, focused on helping children thrive, strengthening families, and creating communities where every child feels valued—making a difference one relationship at a time.

Dale Murphy

Dale Murphy is Co-Director and ambassador of the Dale Murphy Foundation, using his platform to support children and strengthen communities. A legendary 18-season MLB player, mostly with the Atlanta Braves, he was a 7-time All-Star, 5-time Gold Glove winner, 4-time Silver Slugger, and back-to-back NL MVP, known as much for his sportsmanship as his skill. Married to Nancy for nearly 50 years, Dale is a father of eight and grandfather of 23, and considers faith, family, and service his greatest accomplishments. Through the foundation, he's committed to creating opportunities for overlooked children and believes the truest legacy is lifting others up.

Mike Branham

Mike Branham is Vice President of Product Quality Assurance at Beam Therapeutics, with 31 years of experience in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. A former volunteer Area Director for Special Olympics South Carolina, Mike is passionate about youth access to education and sports, both locally and abroad. He is a lifelong baseball fan and avid sports card and memorabilia collector.

Jamee Talbot

Jamee Nordhoff Talbot is a mother of four and grandmother of three, married to Kevan for 33 years. Since 2024, she has joined the Foundation's humanitarian trips to the Dominican Republic, helped plan the 2026 trip, and now supports Baseball Island Foundation students transitioning to U.S. colleges. A pianist since age six with a Media Composition degree from BYU, she accompanies two community choirs and began recording and publishing her own compositions in 2024.

Peggi Branham

Peggi Branham is a retired stay-at-home Mom to two sons. She previously served as Director of Activities at a skilled nursing facility for 7 years and as volunteer coordinator for Help 4 Kids Florence, a non-profit providing weekend meals to food-insecure students. Peggi supports the Dale Murphy Foundation's mission to remove financial barriers so kids can play baseball.

Joel Bronson

Joel brings over 20 years of education experience, including 18 years coaching football and baseball and 2 years as an Athletic Director, giving him a full 360-degree view of the student-athlete experience. He's passionate about helping students bridge the gap from high school to college and navigating the scholarship landscape, which he sees as life-changing for families. As scholarship coordinator, Joel provides the guidance and advocacy young leaders need to succeed academically and athletically.

Kevan Talbot

Kevan P. Talbot has served as a member of our Board of Directors and Treasurer since January 2025. He is President of Talbot Strategic Services, Inc. and also serves on the Boards of Liberty Safe & Security Products and Gathr Outdoors. Previously, Mr. Talbot spent 17 years at Sportsman's Warehouse Holdings, Inc., including 10 years as Chief Financial Officer, after beginning his career at Arthur Andersen LLP. A Utah-licensed CPA, he holds a B.S. and Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University.

Hayden Brooks

Hayden Brooks is the Director of Operations at Purpose Possible, where he oversees the day to day operations of the company. With nearly 20 years of experience in or supporting the nonprofit sector, Hayden brings deep expertise in organizational development and impact-focused work. A current member of the Board of Directors with the Georgia Budget and Policy Institute, Hayden is a graduate of the University of Georgia and lives in Cartersville, Georgia with his wife and three children.

Arianne Murphy

Arianne Murphy is a mother of four who serves as Operations Director for the Dale Murphy Foundation, overseeing the organization's day-to-day activities. A former elementary educator, she brings her passion for supporting young people to her role, where she also facilitates scholarship opportunities for qualifying students across the state of Georgia. Her dedication extends to volunteering on the Foundation's charity trips, reflecting a deep commitment to humanitarian work and service.
